We encourage users to review this policy periodically to stay informed.
10. Your Gulpit account, and how its features use your data
This section covers your account at my.gulpit.store and the features in it. Sections 1 to 9 still apply.
Signing in
- You can sign in with a one-time code sent to your email (or WhatsApp, where available), or with Google or Facebook. We don’t use passwords.
- With Google or Facebook we receive only your name, email address, profile photo and an account ID from that service. We never see your password, contacts or posts.
- An email address from Facebook is treated as unconfirmed until you confirm it with a code. We never combine two accounts unless you prove that both contacts are yours.
- For security we keep a record of the devices signed in to your account: the type of device, the browser and when it was used. You can see these, and sign any of them out, under Signed-in devices. We may also estimate a device’s general area from its internet address to spot misuse. This estimate is often inaccurate, so we never use it for anything else. The estimate uses the DB-IP (db-ip.com) database, which runs on our own servers, so your address is never sent to DB-IP. IP geolocation by DB-IP.
Your profile photo
- If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we copy your photo from there; you can also upload your own. We store a resized copy on our servers and strip any hidden information from the image, such as location.
- You can change or remove it at any time. Once you remove it, we won’t add it back.
Your visits and check-ups
- When you browse gulpit.store we note the pages and products you view, what you search for, and how far you get in the wellness check-up. When you’re signed in, this is linked to your account, so we can show you relevant products and make your blends more personal. We use first-party cookies for this (see section 8), and we don’t track automated visitors such as search-engine bots.
- Your check-up answers are kept with your account so you can see and compare your reports.
- Health details (such as height, weight, diet, allergies and pregnancy) are stored encrypted. We use them only to personalise your blends, and only with your consent. We never use them for advertising and never share them. You can remove them under About you.
Weather and air quality
- If you save a city in your profile, your account shows that city’s weather and air quality. To get them, we send the city’s rounded map location to Open-Meteo, a weather service. Nothing that identifies you is sent. If you don’t save a city, no weather is shown.
Notifications and emails
- Order updates, replies from our support team and security alerts are always sent.
- Reminders (reorders, check-up reminders, back-in-stock and price-drop alerts) and review requests are switched on by default. You can switch each one off under Messages and updates. To avoid filling your inbox, we group reminders into at most one email a day.
- In-app notifications are kept for 180 days.
- Emails are delivered through our email provider. WhatsApp messages, where available, are sent through Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform.
Support conversations
- When you write to us, from your account or by email to support@gulpit.store, we keep the conversation and any photos you send with your account, so we can help you and keep a record.
- Photos are resized, stripped of hidden information and stored privately. Only you and our support team can see them.
- We never link an email to your account just because it came from your address. A team member links it only after confirming it’s you.
- After a conversation is resolved, we may ask you to rate our help.
Reviews
- Only verified buyers can review a product. Reviews show your first name and last initial (for example, “Meera I.”), and appear only after we approve them.
- Approved reviews may be shared with Google so that product ratings can appear in Google Search and Shopping.
- After you rate a product, we offer everyone the same link to review us on Google, whatever your rating. Reviews you post on Google are covered by Google’s own privacy policy. If you rate a product 3 stars or lower, we start a support conversation so we can put things right.
Partner and family
- You can link up to 5 people. Nothing is shared until the other person signs in with the email or phone you invited and accepts.
- Linked people see each other’s first name and photo. Each person can also choose to share their latest check-up score, but never their answers or reports.
- We use the email or phone you enter only to send the invite and to recognise the person when they sign in. Inviting someone never tells you whether they already have a Gulpit account.
- Either of you can remove the link at any time.
Your choices and rights
- Access: you can ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, under Your data in your account, and we’ll reply by email.
- Correction: you can correct most details yourself, under About you and Emails and phone numbers.
- Deletion: you can ask us to delete your account under Your data. To protect you, we confirm the request with a code sent to your email. We keep order records where the law requires it.
- Consent: you can withdraw consent at any time, for example for using your health details or for marketing messages, from your account settings.
- Grievances: for any privacy concern, write to support@gulpit.store to contact our Grievance Support Team. We’ll respond at the earliest.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run these features: Hostinger (hosting and email), Brevo (email delivery), Google and Meta (sign-in, and WhatsApp where available), and Open-Meteo (weather). They handle data only to provide their service to us.
